How Answers Are Reviewed
Every answer on this site is checked by people before you rely on it. This page explains how.
About › How Answers Are Reviewed
Who reviews
Answers are reviewed by our editorial team: ministers and teachers who hold to the convictions in our Statement of Faith. You can meet them on our Team page.
How an answer is made
- A real question comes in. Questions come from readers, from what people search for, and from conversations in churches.
- Scripture is studied first. We gather the passages that speak to the question and read them in context before anything is written.
- An answer is drafted. Each answer opens with a short, plain summary, then walks through the fuller biblical picture with every passage cited.
- Our editorial team reviews it. See below for what they check.
- It stays open to correction. Published answers can be revised, and are.
How we use AI
Some answers begin as an AI-assisted draft. A draft is a starting point, not an answer. Our editorial team is responsible for what is published.
What a reviewer checks
- Does the short answer actually answer the question?
- Is every claim supported by Scripture read in context?
- Are the passages cited the right ones?
- Is the tone clear, fair and kind?
- Where we leaned on a source beyond the Bible, is it named and linked?
What “Reviewed by” means
When an answer has completed editorial review, it shows a “Reviewed by” line under the title with the reviewer’s name and the date.
How we weigh questions
Not every question carries the same weight. Some concern what is essential to the faith; others are matters where faithful Christians differ. That shapes how firmly an answer speaks and where it shows more than one reading. Our article, How we weigh questions, explains the thinking.
Our sources
The Bible comes first. Where an answer draws on another source, we name it and link to it so you can read it yourself.
Sensitive questions
Questions that touch grief, abuse or crisis get extra care, and those answers open with a short note pointing you toward help.
Corrections
If you believe we got something wrong, tell us through our Contact page and show us from Scripture. We will look at it, and if you are right we will fix it.
What this site is not
We are not a substitute for your local church, your pastor, or the Bible itself.

Read, hear and memorize the Bible here
The whole Bible is built into this site, free, with no ads and no paywall. Read it, hear it read aloud, memorize it and pray it, and follow every answer straight to the passage it stands on. Look up a passage or a topic below, open the Bible, or see everything you can do.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Have a Bible question?
Ask it. We read every question, and the ones many people are asking become new answers on the site.
