About Ask Bible Questions
Clear, Scripture-grounded answers to real questions — written plainly, reviewed by people, and always pointing you back to the Bible itself.
Why this site exists
Ask Bible Questions exists to help people find clear, Scripture-based answers to real questions. We aim to keep things simple: what does the Bible say, and how should we understand it in context?
Every answer here starts with the text of Scripture and the world around it. We avoid jargon, we show our work, and we would rather send you to a passage to read for yourself than ask you to take our word for it.
Think of the articles on this site as living articles. We keep adding to them and refining them as we study further and learn what helps readers most.
Our approach
Start with the text
We begin with the Bible passage itself and the context around it — not with an opinion looking for support.
Speak plainly
Clear language, no unnecessary jargon. If a word needs explaining, we explain it.
Point you to Scripture
Every answer cites the passages behind it so you can read them for yourself and weigh what we say.
Our sources
Trust is earned, so here is exactly where our answers come from.
Scripture first
Every answer on this site is built on the Bible. Passages are cited so you can read every verse in context for yourself — we want you checking our work.
Careful study helps
Behind the scenes our writers use standard study tools — concordances, lexicons, and trusted commentaries — to make sure an answer reflects what a passage actually says, not just what we wish it said. Where an answer leans on a source beyond Scripture itself, we say so.
Honest about our process
Some answers begin life as an AI-assisted draft. None are published that way. Every answer is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and our review process is public. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the revision.
When a passage is being memorized, its reference (for example, “John 3, verse 16”) is spoken by a computer-generated voice. The Bible itself is read by human narrators.
What we are not
We are not a substitute for your local church, your pastor, or the Bible itself. We are a starting point — a place to get a clear, Scripture-grounded answer and the passages to study further.
How answers are reviewed
Every answer on this site is checked by people before you rely on it. Who reviews, what they check, and how corrections are made are set out on one page.

What you can do here
Ask Bible Questions began as a library of answers. It is now also a place to spend time in Scripture itself:
Please note
This site is for general Bible learning and encouragement. It is not a substitute for personal discipleship, pastoral care, or professional counseling. If you’re facing a crisis or urgent situation, seek help from trusted local leaders and professionals.

Read, hear and memorize the Bible here
The whole Bible is built into this site, free, with no ads and no paywall. Read it, hear it read aloud, memorize it and pray it, and follow every answer straight to the passage it stands on. Look up a passage or a topic below, open the Bible, or see everything you can do.
